When your laundry pile is the size of a twin bed, what does it mean? I can think of several possibilities, but since none of those possibilities are flattering to me, I choose to ignore them.
I did however, purchase a few of these:
and these:
They have helped tremendously. I got approximately 2/3 of the pile sorted, and then ran out of steam.
That happens a lot these days (running out of steam, not getting 2/3 of stuff done).
The Good news, is that I've been listening to a new cd, Matt Stell & The Crashers.
Isn't that picture tiny? lol
I also have been listening to this:
I shopped at Wal-mart this week for groceries, instead of Kroger. I also went to Target. I forgot to buy potato chips to go with the french onion dip at both places. I had Isaac with me. He's such a fun little shopping buddy, except for when he puts the lunchmeat in the basket seat with him, or tosses things on the floor. Other than that he's fun. He also flirts with the ladies. I had no less than 5 conversations with strangers who he smiled at and got their attention.
Early this morning, I began cooking the meat for
"Drip Beef" sandwiches. I got them from
The Pioneer Woman, of course. We had these sandwiches for lunch. It changed our lives. Okay, maybe not, but man, was it ever a tasty lunch! It might me my favorite sandwich of all time. (With the exception of The Original from Schlotzky's. I can't help myself, I LOVE that sandwich) Anyhoo, I made the version of drip beef with the italian seasonings and pepperoncinis. I don't even care for pepperoncinis. Who cares, this recipe was de-lish and I will make it again.
Well, that's Saturday for you. It's not exactly club-hopping, but it keeps us going.
