• After spending the better part of today getting the pool ready, now we are just waiting while it fills with water. This is a long process. The kids are beside themselves with anxiety. I'm hearing a lot of:
  "We'll NEVER get to swim!"
  "We'll have to wait until TOMORROW!"
  "How many minutes are left?"
  "It looks the same as it did a minute ago"
  "Can we open the goggles?"
  "When it's ready, will you carry me out to it?" (um no, Thomas, I won't!)
  
  They're excited and I'm excited, and everyone is hot. Even in the house. It's just too hot out there for the a/c to totally compete.
